Dr. Hiroo Oda (DDS, PhD)

Dr. Oda served as a faculty member at Kanagawa Dental University for 40 years, and also held a position at Japanese Red Cross Medical Center in Shibuya, Tokyo.
He regularly attends conferences and meetings to keep up-to-date with current methods in orthodontic practice.
We are conveniently located 30-second walk from JR/Yokohama Municipal Subway Nakayama station. 30 minutes from Shibuya or 20 minutes from Yokohama, Machida, it is easily accessible from Yokohama, Atsugi, Zama, Sagamihara as well as central Tokyo.
Dr. Oda has an extensive experience with patients from US bases.
Too far? Patients will be seen every five to 10 weeks, so rest assured, it is not so frequent.
We recommend traditional metal braces. There are good reasons why they remain popular. They offer a reliable, effective and economic option. Today's braces, in contrast to the past ones, are much smaller and more comfortable to wear. Clear braces are availabe at additional cost.
While it may vary, most cases take one to three years with the "average" being 30 months. Attending appointments on schedule and practicing proper oral hygiene are essential to keeping treatment on schedule.
The entire cost fo adult treatment is approximately ¥800.000 to ¥1.000.000 in total.(approximately $5.000-6.000) We offer installment payment planswith no interest up to 18 months.
Dr. Oda was a dental school professor for many years and has treated patients from US bases in Yokohama/Yokosuka. Additionally, full billingual English assistant is always on standby.
